The resort is 5 min to Forums 1&2; 10 min. from MultiPlaza Mall-- the country's largest mall with many designer name stores and 10 min. to CIMA hospital--a first class, private hospital.   In Pozos, we have large supermarkets, super medical facilities and services and pharmacies, fine local and international restaurants and any bank you'd like.  The San Jose International Airport -- Juan Santa Maria-- is 20 min and the local CR based airport  in Pavas is about the same distance.    San Jose, the capital of CR, os 15 min. Public transportation  as well as public and private taxis are all within a couple minutes from Los Jardines.


This is a secured gated community of 29 homes  surrounded by large flowering and fruit trees, manicure shrubs, traditional Costa Rica statues everywhere all within a huge maintained garden setting which is lighted every night. At each end of the garden are two swimming pools with waterfalls, surrounded by lounging sun bathing and social areas, covered ranchos containing gas Bar B- Q grills,  hammocks, bathrooms and a shower area.

Pozos is a quaint and quiet town where cars and horses co-exist peacefully and where woman, children and families still walk the streets after dark safely.

The Resort is a diversified ex-pat community where working and retired people live and english/spanish are the common languages among its residents. Natural stone, lighted walkways meander thru the garden connecting ranchos, social and personal areas. The water is clean, clear and ample from a deep well. The Resort also provides a remote gate entry system and intercom, handicap accessible, local cable,  high speed internet and wireless connections, individual telephone service, onsite property management and maintenance and one parking space for each house and apartment. Visitors parking sites are available, cats and birds are welcome.


The purchaser becomes a shareholder in a corporation which owns the property. The shares entitle the owner/shareholder to the "RIGHT OF EXCLUSIVE USE IN PERPETUITY" of a specific unit and the common element property. The administration and the operation of the corporation is as a condominium in North America. Board of directors are elected by the shareholders and hires a property management company to execute day-to-day management. "Exclusive Use" property is clearly defined as well as is common element property. Monthly  common element fees (HOA) which include the maintenance of the pools and its amenities, gardens, walkways, streets and parking areas, exterior building maintenance, property taxes,  water and a reserve fund provision. The resident association rules and regulations are clearly stated in the Shareholder's Agreement.  Such covenants are commonly found in condominiums in North America.  The legal documentation is modeled after Canadian and North American condominium laws and modified to fit Costa Rican laws. Each unit has been allocated a set number of voting shares out of a possible 200 shares. These shares can be re-sold or gifted without restrictions.


This is definitely a secured gated and pleasant community with secured apartments therein where woman and children still walk the streets after dark safely. As an resident owner, I only have the highest regard for the steel and concrete construction and living accommodations in this compound, its ownership, property management and maintenance of said property by dependable diligent workers. This is an excellent place for real estate investment with a three year rental track record  averaging 95% occupancy and a wonderful location in the growing Central Valley area of Costa Rica to live all year round or for a terrific vacation home where you can indeed lock it and leave it.



MASTER BEDROOM: The master bedroom features a queen bed. The closet is designed to allow a TV which is conveniently located for in-bed viewing. A three piece wash room is attached to this room.  A sliding glass door opens onto a private back terrace.

GUEST BEDROOM: Use of the center room is flexible:  It could be used variously as a communications room / extended living room, or by closing the large sliding doors, it could become a private bedroom with en-suite washroom. One end of the room features a full set of cabinets with built-ins for concealed organization and storage.


SECOND BATHROOM: It has a large shower, vanity, and WC and storage cupboard.  It can be en-suite bathroom to the  guest bedroom or  a  2nd. bathroom used by guests.


While the open concept kitchen / living room / dining room offer an area for living and entertaining. The generous “U” shaped kitchen blue peal granite counters and full granite backsplash create a beautiful focal point.  The raised  breakfast makes it unnecessary to have a dinning room table but should one want it, there is room. All cupboards are made from “cedro”,  beautiful local wood  The kitchen features a SS range, refrigerator, and microwave/. Recessed valence lighting accents the workspace. A separate full height pantry is nearby for additional storage and cleaning supplies.



FRONT TERRACE: Acts as an extension of the living room and is access by a sliding glass door. The there is a teak table and chairs as well as a teak chase lounge with cushion. 

BACK TERRACE: The very private back, covered terrace is accessed off the master bedroom through a sliding glass door. Two comfortable wicker chairs side tables and plants make for quiet conversation.
